Updating Our Online Presence: The Next Chapter for Jackalope Knives
At Jackalope Knives, everything we do starts at the bench.
Steel gets cut, hands get dirty, and ideas take shape one piece at a time. For a long while, our website didn’t quite reflect that reality. It worked, but it didn’t feel like us. So we decided it was time to change that.
Over the past several weeks, we’ve been rebuilding our online presence and store from the ground up, with the same mindset we bring to our knives: intentional, functional, and built to last.
Why the Update?
Jackalope Knives has grown. Our products have evolved, our process has sharpened, and our community has expanded well beyond where we started. We needed a digital home that could keep up.
The goal wasn’t to look flashy or trendy. It was to build something that reflects who we are:
Veteran owned
American made
Small-batch, purpose-driven tools
Honest craftsmanship over mass production
If you’ve ever held one of our knives, you know we care about the details. This update is no different.
What’s New
A cleaner, stronger design
We rebuilt the site to feel rugged but refined. Natural textures, muted colors, and straightforward navigation all mirror the tools we make. Nothing extra. Nothing wasted.
Improved mobile experience
Most folks are browsing on their phones these days, whether they’re at work, in the shop, or out in the field. The updated site is faster, clearer, and easier to use on any screen size.
A better store experience
We streamlined the shop so it’s easier to find what you’re looking for, learn about each piece, and understand what goes into making it. Fewer clicks. More clarity.
Stronger storytelling
Our knives are small, but the stories behind them aren’t. We’re putting more emphasis on showing the work, the process, and the philosophy behind each design.
What Hasn’t Changed
The important stuff.
Every knife is still made with purpose. Materials are still chosen for performance, not hype. Orders are still packed by hand. And we’re still committed to making tools that earn their keep, whether they’re riding in a pocket, on a belt, or in a pack.
This update isn’t about becoming something new. It’s about better reflecting what Jackalope Knives has always been.
Looking Ahead
This is just the beginning. As we continue to grow, we’ll be adding more content, more insight into our process, and more ways to connect with the people who support our work.
If you’ve been with us from the start, thank you. If you’re new here, welcome. We’re glad you found us.
Small knives. Big jobs.
